(June 1, 2011) — Cabrini College has been named to the 2010 President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll, the highest federal recognition a college or university can receive for its commitment to volunteering, service learning and civic engagement. Since the Honor Roll’s inception in 2006, Cabrini has seen appointment every year.

    RADNOR, Pa. (Sept. 16, 2009) — Cabrini Theater is one of just 100 international venues selected to stage a world premiere performance of The Laramie Project: 10 Years Later (An Epilogue) on Monday, Oct. 12. The 100 theaters will perform in sync with the Tectonic Theater Project premiere in New York's Lincoln Center, scheduled for 8 p.m. A live video feed to all theaters will broadcast the first 20 minutes of the performance, at which time the satellite theaters will conclude the play simultaneously.

(Feb. 5, 2009) — Cabrini College is one of nine Pennsylvania colleges and universities (and 111 nationwide) recognized for community engagement by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. Cabrini received the 2008 Community Engagement Classification for both "Curricular Engagement" and "Outreach and Partnerships."

    RADNOR, Pa. (Jan. 9, 2009) — During the 2009-10 academic year, students at Cabrini will research bacterial viruses and DNA sequencing with one of the largest research organizations in the country, the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI).
