The Office of Institutional Research at Cabrini College provides accurate and timely data and analysis to support strategic planning, institutional effectiveness, accountability, and compliance.
The office offers a variety of data and other decision-making support services to all areas of the College, as well as external organizations.
The Institutional Research office is part of the Division of Academic Affairs and reports to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collect, warehouse, analyze, and disseminate data relevant to the needs of the campus
- Design and conduct institutional research studies to support planning and decision-making
- Design and administer surveys—often in consultation with other departments—to collect data about Cabrini's students, faculty, staff, and alumni
- Maintain and report on strategic dashboard indicators
- Conduct comparative analysis against peer, competitor, and aspirant institutions
- Report official institutional data to external agencies, educational consortiums, and the public
- Respond to requests for information and assistance, both inside and outside the College
- Keep current about best research practices, technology, and trends in higher education
The Office of Institutional Research publishes an annual Fact Book. This resource is a compendium of facts and frequently requested current and historical information about the College including students, degree programs, retention, faculty, finances, library holdings, and institutional advancement.
Secure Site
Certain restricted-access resources—including Middle States accreditation documents, institutional assessment, faculty compensation, and strategic planning—are available on the Institutional Research Secure Site with a login and password.
