The legal drinking age in Pennsylvania is 21. Students under 21 are not permitted access to alcohol, and students over 21 are limited in their alcohol use on campus.
Illegal drugs and parafernalia are not permitted on campus at any time by anyone. Strict sanctions will be imposed on any students violating the following policies:
Alcohol and Drug Programs
Resources for education, treatment, and/or counseling for drug and alcohol problems are located both on and off campus.
The counseling center provides direct service to students and acts as a liaison with county, state, and federal resource agencies. Diagnostic assessments, community education, and consultations are available.
The counseling staff coordinate a wide range of education programs in the area of drug and alcohol use, including addictive behavior, alcoholism, drinking and driving, co-dependency, addiction and the family, and responsible party hosting.
College employees showing signs of alcohol or drug abuse on campus may be terminated from employment if found to be in possession of or using illegal substances on campus. An employee assistance program (EAP) is available for all employees.
