Pre-Law Club The Pre-Law Club aims to introduce Cabrini's pre-law students to the variety of education options and opportunities available after graduation. Visiting admissions officers from various law schools meet with students on campus. Members visit the Villanova University Moot Court sessions, as well as other school sessions with extended invitations. Experts speak to our students about the Law School Admissions Service and strategies for applying to law schools. Cabrini graduates who have finished or currently attend law school also return to speak to club members. Phi Alpha Theta Phi Alpha Theta is the international honor society in history. Cabrini College chartered membership in Phi Alpha Theta in 1974.
Membership requirements include a 3.0 overall GPA and a minimum of 12 credits completed in history with a minimum average of 3.0. Induction into Phi Alpha Theta takes place each April. History and Political Science Club The History and Political Science Club is open to all members of the campus community. The club sponsors and supports lectures, forums, trips, movies, and other activities designed to attract students interested in history and political science issues and events. Recently, the club has organized trips to the Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C., and to several Civil War battlefield sites. The club also has presented major forums about the Civil War, baseball, and World War II, with nationally known speakers and scholars coming to Cabrini College. |
