Changing the world takes leaders who believe that love and justice are meant to be lived as well as studied.
The Wolfington Center offers excellent leadership programs grounded in Catholic social teaching and Cabrinian practical compassion.
All programs are open to students of all majors and interests.
Scholars in Service
The AmeriCorps 'Scholars in Service to Pennsylvania' program pairs Cabrini students with an ECG (Engagements with the Common Good) 200 course to serve as liaison to community partners for service projects.
The Wolfington Center pairs one Scholar in Service with one ECG 200 course to work as a peer/community liaison for the year. Students enroll as AmeriCorps members on a part-time basis and serve approximately 10 hours per week.
Scholars earn an education award of approximately $1,175 that can be used to pay for any legitimate educational expenses at Cabrini, future educational expenses, or to repay student loans.
Pierce Scholars
The Pierce Scholar Program identifies, trains, and empowers five highly motivated student leaders each year in collaboration with the Pierce Family Foundation
The student leaders initiate and run programs, working to connect on-campus departments, offices, and groups to off-campus organizations serving children at risk.
