Have you ever wondered what it is like to come to the United States as an immigrant?
Learn about the immigration system through an interactive simulation and try to navigate the immigration system yourself. Then learn about immirgration from a panel of experts.
A student from Neumann University will talk about her life as an undocumented DREAM Activist, what it's like to be called "illegal," and about her work advocating for legal changes.
A social worker with Catholic Social Services will talk about her work assisting hundreds of persons without papers, victims of human trafficking, and unaccompanied minors, as well as how she has advocated for legal status for abused women married to US citizens or permanent residents.
This panel discussion will focus on new immigration legislation and how it could affect immigrants already living in the United States and future immigrants.
We hope to see you there, ready to experience and learn why and how so many people are coming to the United States of America.
