Transfer Orientation gives incoming transfer students an opportunity to meet faculty, staff, and students, and also learn about academic requirements and campus resources.
Staff and students will be on hand to assist with finding rooms and answering questions.

1:00 - 2:30PM: For Families: “Cool Off and Chill Out” - Iadarola Center
While students meet with their advisors and Orientation groups, parents can attend this session to meet with campus representatives about the college experience and chat with other parents.
3:15PM: Welcoming Mass - Nerney Fieldhouse, Dixon Center
4:30PM: Matriculation - Nerney Fieldhouse, Dixon Center A formal ceremony to officially enroll the new class. Dress is business casual. Please plan to be seated by 4:15PM.
5:15PM: Family Picnic - The Commons Spend some relaxing time with your family before saying goodbye, and begin to meet some new friends!
6:30PM: Commuter Student Meeting - Jazzman’s Café Meet others who will be commuting and find out about services offered especially for commuter students.
6:30PM: Residence Hall Meetings Students will meet their Resident Assistant (RA) and other students living on their floor and in their building.
8:30PM: New Student Activities Meet other members of the Class of 2019, find common interests with one another, and have fun!
10:00PM: New Student Evening Event
All campus offices will be open for regular business hours.
The Cavalier Express Center will be open for regular business hours to answer any questions students may have with regard to their bill, financial aid, etc.
Visit Public Safety to have IDs made or the Bookstore to purchase books and other supplies.
The Mail Room will be open for new resident students who have questions about their mailbox and new address.
Representatives from the Admissions Office will be on hand throughout the day to answer any questions.

Orientation Leaders will assist students with their rotation and where they need to go. Rotations will include brunch, a tour of our historic Mansion, and a Cavalier spirit program! It’s never too early to start showing your Cavalier pride!
1:15 - 3:45PM: Real Talk Cabrini - Grace Hall and Widener Center Lecture Hall Orientation Leaders will inform students about which location to attend.
Real Talk is an interactive, dynamic, powerful program for students to hear from peers about their experiences and discuss and learn from each other as you begin your college career.
4:00PM: Not the Standard Campus Tour!

Join us as we welcome our incoming ALANA (African American, Latino, Asian, and Native American) students from the class of 2019!
This program is sponsored by the Office of Student Diversity Initiatives and the Office of Enrollment Retention. In this program, incoming students will meet current ALANA student leaders, as well as some faculty and staff, and hear first-hand stories about not just being successful ALANA students, but strategies for becoming ALANA Scholars.
