Cabrini Receives $180K Pew Grant for Programs on Prisoner Re-entry
The Pew Charitable Trusts has awarded a three-year, $180,000 grant to Cabrini College to support the College's partnership with the borough of Norristown. The grant will help fund and coordinate prisoner reentry services for ex-offenders from Montgomery County Correctional Facility (MCCF) returning to the Norristown community. Network partners will include the criminal justice system, social service agencies, and the faith community.

Cabrini College graduate Allison Superneau '08 recently presented research on possible causes of breast cancer on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. Her poster presentation on "The Identification of Downstream Signaling Partners to PTHrP in the Mammary Gland" focuses on identifying the genetic compounds in the development of mammary glands and the compounds' correlation with breast cancer.
