RADNOR, Pa. (Jan. 22, 2013) – Last fall, the College Media Association (CMA) honored a group of Cabrini College alumni for an international multimedia project they produced while students about the Arab Spring.

, a capstone project created by 13 students in a senior Honors Convergence class, shines a light on how the group’s peers in the Middle East risked their lives to help inspire a democratic movement.

The American American University in Cairo, which collaborated with the Cabrini students, reported on the project, and Catholic Relief Services also featured YouthVoicesRise.com on their website.
In November 2011, the CMA awarded YouthVoicesRise.com a 2012 Pinnacle Award for Best Multimedia Feature Presentation, beating out entries from around the nation; Baylor and Kent State universities were among the finalists.
