The Office of Student Diversity Initiatives strives to empower students of all backgrounds and walks of life, and welcomes differences in age, race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, socio-economic background, and geographic origin.
Diversity Initiatives at Cabrini focuses on programming, training, and events that promote an inclusive campus community and celebrates diversity for:
ALANA, (African-American, Latino, Asian, & Native American)
LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transgender)
international students, staff, and faculty
Representatives from Student Diversity host campus events throughout the year, such as discussions, dances, food festivals, movie screenings, and more.
Training offered for students, faculty, and staff includes:
- Diversity Leader Training
- Safe-Zone and Ally Training
- In-Class Training on a variety of diversity-related topics
The Office of Student Diversity is located in the Widener Center across from the Cabrini Bookstore, and has an open-door policy for questions, concerns, or suggestions.
