Student Diversity Initiatives highlights the many cultures and traditions of the Cabrini student body and hosts events that enrich the campus community. We also conduct training, workshops and town halls on multicultural and diversity-related issues.
First-Year ALANA Student Rap Sessions African-American, Latino, Asian, & Native American (ALANA) students are invited to share their experiences during their first year at Cabrini.
The CommUNITY BBQ Held during the first week of class each fall semester, this BBQ welcomes students from all backgrounds to enjoy food and urban style block party games (double dutch, dodge ball, line dancing, etc.).
Prizes are given for trivia and competitions like volleyball and jacks. All the while, students, faculty, and staff get to know each other and are reminded of the Cabrini's Pledge of Respect & CommUNITY.
Diversity Dessert Series An open forum for real conversations that allows students, faculty, and staff to share and hear a variety of perspectives on diverse topics that matter to them, while sharing desserts.

Heritage Events Student Diversity Initiatives collaborates with various student clubs and departments to sponsor a variety of events that celebrate different cultures through food, music, and fun activities.
Black History Month Cabrini hosts trips, educational sessions, lectures, and other cultural events.
Day of SilenceA student-led action towards creating safer schools for all, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression, Day of Silence brings attention to harassment.
Unity WeekA collaborative effort by student leaders, clubs, faculty, and College departments, Unity Week affirms the diversity within the Cabrini community through fun events and community building.
PUMP Pre-Orientation ProgramFirst-year minority students have the opportunity to move in early, learn about life at Cabrini, and receive peer mentoring from upperclass students.
