College is all about transformation. You will change and grow at Cabrini in ways that you have not yet dreamed. You will experience transformations through the work of the courses you take, the people you meet, and the time you invest in all sorts of activities that match your interests and hopes. Your personal transformation can take many pathways and some of these pathways will be unfamiliar to you. That's where our Academic and Career Exploration Living and Learning Community (ACE) will be of value to you! You will live and study with a group of your peers, and together you can bond over the same journey; the journey of seeking out and exploring, finding out who you are, discovering the meaning and importance of majors and the careers they can lead to, and discovering what it means to become a life-long learner. Over the course of the year students will experience interactive activities and assignments that will assist with: - clarifying interests
- defining work values
- identifying skills
- determining personality strengths
To continually assist in your journey to declare a major, members of this community will be exposed to: - alumni, from a number of professional settings, through alumni panels and an alumni dinner
- seniors studying in specific academic disciplines
- educated speakers, both in and outside of the Cabrini community, focusing on this journey
