S3 - Service - Spirit - Solidarity
Since 1957, Cabrini has educated community leaders who engage their intellect and their spirituality in their service to others.
During S-Cubed, we’ll learn about the community around us and how to participate in it.
We’ll volunteer in Norristown, a local city, and discuss how community organizations and policy-makers are working to improve the lives of its residents.
By taking on tasks that include working with children, planting trees, and improving facilities for the elderly, we’ll delve into how and why we serve.
Our explorations will include:
Spirituality: Finding our own callings, and how those callings help to inform our missions in life and our relationships with others
Intellect: Understanding why service matters, how best to serve, and what service achieves
Service: Just do it!
Be a part of the select group of students who come to campus before orientation to learn about their own connections to the community.
Enjoy picnics with community partners, dinner with the president, and preparation for making a difference during your time at Cabrini and after.
Student leaders are a critical component of S-Cubed. They will serve as mentors and guides, share their passion for service and campus involvement, and help you transition to college life.
