Active Minds is a nationwide organization with chapters on more than 100 college campuses throughout the United States.
The group increases student awareness of mental-health issues by providing information and resources about mental health and mental illness.
Active Minds also encourages students to seek help as soon as it is needed and serves as liaison between students and the mental-health community.
Through campus-wide events and national programs, Active Minds aims to remove the stigma that surrounds mental-health issues and causes far too many to suffer in silence.
Meetings All are welcome to join Active Minds for their biweekly meetings on Wednesdays (2/25, 3/11, 3/25, 4/8 and 4/22) in the Wolfington Center from 5:30-6:30pm.
