In an effort to ease your transition from home to college, we suggest that you consider bringing some of the following. Please communicate with your roommates so you don't bring two (or more) of the same item!

- laundry bag or basket and detergent
- sewing kit
- disposable cups, plates, and eating utensils
- iron and small ironing board
- organizer/planner/calendar
- back pack
- bedding - sheets (extra-long twin), pillows, mattress pad, comforter
- bath towels, soap, robe, shower caddy
- band aids and aspirin or other pain reliever
- personal hygiene items - (toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, deodorant, etc.)
- fan
- shower shoes
- umbrella
- posters to decorate the room-pictures of family/friends
- flashlight/batteries
- your insurance card/insurance information
- hangers
- waste basket
Additional things to consider if you live in the Cabrini Apartment Complex (CAC)
You should know that the following items are not standard provisions and must be provided by the residents:

- Kitchen equipment - pots and pans, dishes and glasses, coffee mugs, silverware and silverware organizer, toaster, can opener
- salt and pepper, spices

- Linens - pillows, sheets (standard twin size), blankets/comforter, towels and washcloths, bathroom rugs/bath mat, dish towels
- Cleaning supplies - disinfectant spray, vacuum cleaner with bags, furniture polish, all-purpose liquid cleaner, bathroom cleaner, bucket and mop, cleaning rags and sponges, broom and dust pan, dish detergent, laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, rubber gloves, toilet bowel brush
