Housing Options

Current resident students can apply for housing, receive a lottery number, and participate in “Room Pick” during the spring semester.

Housing selection is open to all current Cabrini students who are enrolled full-time (12+ credit hours), in good academic, disciplinary, and financial standing with the College, and were born on or after Aug. 25, 1989.

• Current and rising seniors (first admitted 2009-10 or 2010-11) and rising juniors (first admitted 2011-12) may select from any available rooms in the Cabrini Apartment Complex or West Residence Hall, as well as certain spaces in residential houses and East Residence Hall.

• Rising sophomores (first admitted 2012-13) may select from the residential houses and portions of East Residence Hall. Sophomores may not live in the Cabrini Apartment Complex or West Residence Hall.

• Upperclass students may not live in Woodcrest Hall or Xavier Hall, except Resident Assistants and Master Learners.

• If students select an apartment or suite as a group but do not fill all available spaces, those spaces will be be filled by random roommates.

• Housing is not guaranteed for upperclass students. Those with the last lottery numbers might not be able to secure housing during Room Pick if no rooms are available.

• Students who do not secure a room may be added to the housing waitlist.

Commuter Students
Current commuter students do not participate in Room Pick.

Residence Life will not be able to hold a space open for commuters who want to room with current residents if a current resident requests that space.

Current commuter students who wish to become residents may apply for housing and select from available spaces after all current residents have had the opportunity to select a room.

All available spaces on campus might become filled during Room Pick. Therefore, it is not guaranteed that current commuter students will be able to secure housing.

• Commuters can choose housing from available rooms at the Office of Residence Life.
