Resident Assistants (RAs) serve in a unique leadership position.
RAs are full-time students who live in the residence halls and provide individual support, build community, and promote the health and safety of residents.
RAs receive single-room housing, a meal plan, and other benefits, so the position is competitive.
RA RequirementsTo be considered for the position of Resident Assistant, candidates must:
*Candidates who are strongly interested in the position but with a lower GPA are still encouraged to participate in the selection process.

Interview Sign up for a 30-minute individual interview.
Group ProcessAttend and participate in RA Group Process Selection, meeting other candidates and working together as a team to solve problems.
RA-Recruitment TimelineStudents generally apply for the RA position starting in early November, with the recruitment process wrapping up by mid-February.
RAs are selected in in the spring semester to serve for the following academic year; August through May.
