This is the go-to database for SWOT analyses. Company profiles and business journals are also available. This database can be searched in conjunction with Academic Search Premier and Regional Business News by clicking "Choose Databases."

Use to find demographic and psychographic information for marketing and examples of marketing plans for service or product types. Browse by topic or search by keyword. Though you can use by going directly to their website, you must go through this database page to have access to full text documents.

Regional Business News

Regional Business News provides exactly what it sounds like it would: full text access for regional business periodicals. For us, this means that most major and regional business periodicals published in the United States are accessible. This database can be searched in conjunction with Academic Search Premier and Business Source Premier by clicking "Choose Databases."


Statisa is a statistics portal that provides data on over 80,000 topics from more than 10,000 different sources including agriculture, advertising, health, hospitality, and consumer goods. The content is geared towards business and marketing statistical needs, with a focus on current (not historical) statistics. Ready made tables are available for downloading.

Wall Street Journal

The Eastern edition of the Journal covers U.S. and international business and economic news. Coverage is full text from 1984 to present. Pictures are not included.
