Education & Special Education Major, Class of 2016

Hi, everyone! I am an Education & Special Education major from Washington Township, NJ. Over my four years at Cabrini, I have been really involved! Whether it is working as a student ambassador, in the Student Engagement and Leadership office, Student Government Association, or Campus Ministry, I love having something to do and staying active here on campus. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, cooking, going to the beach, hiking and smiling! Teaching is my passion and after graduation I am hoping to pursue a career teaching students with autism. I want to be able make an impact in my students lives everyday just as my professors at Cabrini have done for me.

I’ve gone into Philly many times with my family over the years, but it wasn’t until one particular night with a group from Cabrini that I saw the city in a different light. This experience with those who are homeless has opened my eyes and changed the way I think about my life and how I can impact others.
